WebPro Writing

1.  How do we initiate a project with you?

During an initial consultation, we'll go over the details of your project and together determine your objective, the nature and scope of the project and a tentative timeline for project turnaround. We'll also discuss possible marketing tools and strategies you may not have considered.

Once we firm up the project details, we'll quote a price and a projected timeline for completion. These terms will be memorialized, either by a contract or through e-mail correspondence. If the terms are stipulated in a phone conversation, we will follow up with a subsequent e-mail to ensure that both parties are in agreement as to the rates and terms.

2.  Speaking of turnaround time, what is your average time to finish work?

During routine workloads, we can usually commit to completing a project within one to two weeks, and will give you a projected date of completion at the start of a new project.

3.  Do you take on RUSH projects?

Good question!  Yes, we can at times (as our workload permits) take on RUSH projects.  We will be upfront with you as to our availability, and will never commit to taking on a RUSH project that we cannot hope to complete.

NOTE:  Because this is an expedited, value-added service, there will be a surcharge of 20% on all RUSH projects.

4.  Speaking of money, exactly how much do you charge?

Because every project is unique, we quote prices on an individual per-project basis, and will happily prepare an estimated price once we've discerned the details about your needs and objectives.

That said, our prices are reasonable and at the low-to-mid range of the Professional Spectrum. We use this term because in today's internet age, it's easy to find writers (especially at 'copy mills') who are quite willing to churn out articles at $5 or $10 a pop.

While they may be cheap, what you won't get with them is quality, ORIGINAL content created specifically for you. We are also Native English Speakers with a stellar command of the spelling, grammar, syntax and nuances of American English.

Additionally, when you hire us you're not just getting a 'writer', but Marketing and Communication Specialists as well. We especially excel at writing engaging web content, as well as persuasive, effective sales copy that turns prospects into customers and gets results.

At WebPro Writing, we provide our clients with much more than 'just writing.' We help define your target demographic or audience, delve into their psyche, then write custom-tailored compositions directed at them. You won't get that from a copy mill or some low-bid website.

AND REMEMBER:

You wouldn't choose a low-bid surgeon when your life and health are at stake. Why would you risk the health and livelihood of your business on a second-rate writer?

5.  What about payments?  Do you require a deposit?

We require an industry-standard 50% down payment before we commence any project. The remaining 50% balance will be due upon your acceptance of the completed copy.

6.  How many revisions are included?

We want you to be happy with our work, so we include two rounds of soft revisions in the price we quote you. This means that tone, nuances and grammar may be changed, but the scope or direction of the project cannot (without incurring additional charges.)

For example, if a client commissions a one page informational article of web content, and then decides he'd like to change it to a sales letter (which requires much different dynamics and writing principles) after we've started the first draft, there would be an additional fee incurred (based upon our time spent on the project thus far.)

Most clients require only slight (if any) revisions, because we strive to work with you ahead of time to get a handle on exactly what it is you want -- what style or voice you'd like to use, who your target audience is, etc.

We've found that by implementing a quality consultation process at the start of projects, this drastically cuts down on the likelihood of miscommunication (which is often the root of problems that arise as projects progress.)

7.  What does the approval and/or turnaround process entail?

Once we've submitted the first draft, we ask that you kindly review it within three (3) business days of us submitting it to you, and that you respond back to us with revision requests by the fourth (4th) business day.

If we do not hear back from you reference revision requests or feedback on or before day four (4), we will assume you are happy with the completed copy. The remaining 50% of the balance will then become due at that time.

8.  What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept business checks as well as payment through PayPal. Personal checks are not accepted without prior arrangement.

8.  Do you have a referral program?

Yes, thanks for asking. If you refer a new client to us, you'll enjoy 10% off of the price of the next project you commission from WebPro Writing.
